Bilingual Answer Desk

About Bilingual Answer Desk

We built Bilingual Answer Desk to help businesses answer callers in English and Spanish with the same business instructions. Try the browser demo to hear the greeting, switch languages, and test a request yourself.

A bright reception desk with a phone, two coffee cups and a plant

We give businesses a receptionist that can take a request in either language and leave the owner with details to act on. A caller should be able to explain what they need in Spanish, switch to English, or ask for an address to be read back without starting another call.

Built around your business instructions

Your receptionist learns your services, hours, service area, and price policy from your website and an onboarding chat. You also explain which requests are urgent and who should receive them. Those instructions give the conversation a purpose: collect the right details, book an appointment, or prepare a callback.

You choose when calls reach it, including busy periods or after hours. An urgent request can go to your on-call person through a warm transfer, with a short summary before they accept. For other calls, email and app push alerts bring you the summary, urgency tag, transcript, and recording.

Clear about being AI

The greeting identifies the receptionist as a virtual assistant and tells callers the call is recorded. We recommend turning on your bilingual greeting setting at setup: both notices then open each call in English and Spanish. With it off, they open in English and repeat in Spanish in the first reply after a caller speaks Spanish. We want owners and callers to understand what they are using from the beginning.

The AI can make mistakes, so reviewing call details is part of running the service. You can read transcripts, listen to recordings, and change settings by telling the AI what your business needs.

Hear it before you forward calls

The browser conversation demo lets you test a fictional business without signing up. Try a Spanish booking request, then switch languages and listen to the read-back of your details.

When you are ready, request a free receptionist trial; we'll email your sign-in link when your trial is ready so you can use the onboarding chat. We provide a local number, forwarding instructions, and a test call before you go live. You buy online and manage the service yourself.
